Team Negroni is now Team Happiness! We are renaming the program after one of Tony Abou-Ganim’s favorite salutations “To Happiness!”. We are actively recruiting Local Leaders to organize and host bike rides and raise money for the Helen David Relief Fund in October.

Spearheaded by Tony Abou-Ganim, our Team HAppiness bike ride program raises funds for the Helen David Relief Fund here at the USBG Foundation. The focus of the fund is to help bartenders and others in the alcohol beverage industry in their fight against cancer. We put on these bike rides all over the US during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Local Leaders are the bike chain oil that makes this program go round and round. You’ll be our main point of contact for the ride; you’ll determine the route, distribute jerseys and other swag to participants, coordinate any ride-day volunteers, and work with local sponsors for the after-ride cocktail celebration!
Of course, we will be there all along the way to support and assist in any way we can so that your Team Happiness ride is a success. Please feel free to share this with your members if you think there might be a stellar Local Leader amongst them!

The Helen David Relief Fund (HDRF) honors the memory of the beloved Port Huron, Michigan bar owner, and community leader. Beating breast cancer twice during her lifetime, Helen is an inspiration to those living with the disease. In her name, the HDRF assists those in the bar industry who are fighting breast, and other forms of, cancer with the same dignity and courage that Helen exemplified throughout her life as a pioneer business owner in the bar industry.
