Chapter and National Election Voting November 1 - 15

Elected volunteer leaders serve as the voice of USBG members—representing their community locally and helping guide the Guild’s direction nationally.

Each year, Local Chapter Director and National Board elections are run electronically by USBG Staff. USBG Members vote for self-nominated Chapter Directors for their primary chapter and for a slate of National Board of Directors Candidates selected by the USBG Nominating Committee.

Voting begins November 1, 2025 12:01am Pacific Time. Voting ends November 15 11:59pm Pacific Time.

10% of members must cast ballots in order for election results to be certified.

All active members are eligible to vote.

  • Members who joined before 10/10/2025 will automatically receive an e-mail ballot from AssociationVoting.com
  • Members who joined USBG after October 10, may reach out to Elections@usbg.org to request a ballot.

How Voting Works

The United States Bartenders’ Guild uses a slate election format for its National Board of Directors. In this format, a slate of qualified candidates is presented to the membership for a confirmation vote.

The USBG Nominating Committee—a governing body appointed to ensure transparency and inclusivity—selects this slate of candidates based on both professional qualifications and lived experiences that reflect the diversity of the USBG community.

Professional qualifications may include areas such as collaborative partnerships, workforce development, finance, advocacy, and education. Personal factors—such as gender, generation, sexual orientation, languages spoken, relationship status, and household makeup—are also considered to ensure that leadership reflects the rich variety of perspectives within the Guild.

This process ensures that every candidate for the Board of Directors has demonstrable skills and insights that make them well-suited to help lead the organization, while also bringing the life experience needed to represent members authentically.

By voting to confirm the slate, members help shape a Board that is inclusive, strategically aligned, and representative of the evolving bartending community.
