When the USBG Board of Directors originally formed back in 2013, they made a commitment to the development of a well-informed and organized collaborative of national leaders. Must have previously served a full term in the USBG in one (1) of the following leadership capacities: A Director or Officer of a USBG Chapter Board of Directors A National Committee Chair or Vice-Chair A Regional Council Representative on the National Council of Chapters A member of the USBG National Board of Directors Suggested Additional Candidate Experience would include: Prior attendance at regional or national conferences Must be without substantial conflict of interest resulting from an affiliation with any enterprise that is in competition with the USBG Must publicly disclose any potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the USBG Conflict of Interest Policy (available HERE ) Must be willing to commit to a minimum Three-Year term Must be willing and able to comply with the USBG Attendance and Board Accountability Policies Be available to volunteer for the USBG an average of 5 hrs/week a week and occasionally up to 10 hrs/week Must have computer and internet access Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have experience and success in managing regular email communications and conference call scheduling Be available to assist in local and national events Become familiar with the USBG by-laws and USBG competition rules If you would like to apply, please click here to be taken to the application packet
