I am a former chef and caterer, who turned academic. My graduate work was in food microbiology, but my interests are broadly the connection between food science, alcohol, and culinary arts. I teach all of the Food and Beverage curriculum for the San Antonio location of the Hilton College, and am most well known for my class on Agave Spirits which I offer to University of Houston students.
