Shake it til you make it.
Creating cocktails since 1997 at some of the top resorts on the West Coast, Amin Benny also known as The Bar Host, has worked hard to gain his position within the cocktail community. After a long run as a bartender in Las Vegas, NV at Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay, Benny has returned to his native home in Southern California where he is currently the founder and the president for the Orange County Chapter of the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG). Together with his wife Nichole and their daughter Simone moving back to Orange County has enriched their family life and created opportunities for Benny to be employed with Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and The Resort at Pelican Hill.
Educated by some of the top mixologists in the U.S. Benny’s biggest desire is to share his knowledge with developing bartenders. So, in 2014 he started his Bar Consultant and Beverage Brand Representation Company called The Bar Host. This company has represented global brands such as Patron Tequila and consulted for some of the most well know restaurant groups in Southern California. Benny has also taken on roles like Stewart of the Brand for WhistlePig Rye Whiskey and sitting on the Beverage Chair for Share our Strength, which raises money for No Kid Hungry, through Laguna Beach Taste of the Nation. With the success with his consulting company Benny has appeared on radio shows like KLOS, television shows like Good Morning San Diego, taught multiple seminars at industry conventions like The Nightclub and Bar Convention, and has co-authored his first book, Cocktails Made Simple. Benny’s passion is to help elevate the beverage industry and to continue his career building brands.
