bars/restaurants, beverage program development, account management and operations.
I take pride in my ability to utilize a wealth of knowledge in areas of strategic marketing and
advertising, human resources management, personnel training, contract negotiation,
budget development/administration, inventory and logistics. I motivate team members to
meet and exceed established goals and interact easily with people of diverse backgrounds
and professional levels. I'm adept at analyzing complex business issues and capturing new
markets and increasing client profitability. I frequently execute multiple projects
simultaneously, with the self-motivation, initiative, and business savvy necessary to meet
the challenges of today's competitive marketplace.
I currently serve as the as the National Vice President for the United States Bartenders' Guild. Over the years, I've served on the National Education Committee as a project lead, Vice-Chair, Chair, and Board Liaison. I also serve on the Master Accreditation Committee. I have competed and placed in dozens of cocktail competitions and now judge cocktail competitions across the United States. I actively bartended for over ten years in everything from hotel bars to nightclubs, chain restaurants, microbreweries, country clubs, and cocktail bars. I've worked as a Brand Ambassador and a consultant in the hospitality industry. For the past five years, I've worked for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. Over that time, I've held roles as Portfolio Manager, Mixologist, Academy of Spirits Facilitator and Area Manager. I currently serve as Chair of the Education & Certification Committee for our Indiana office.
My pride and joy, Alyssa graduated college in 2020 with a degree in business. She is incredibly intelligent and makes me proud to be her mom. My husband, Dustin and I were childhood sweethearts. We have known each other over 30 years. We have a Chocolate Lab named Isabella. We also have two cats, a Siamese named Samoa and an orange Tabby named Oliver. We love to travel and make memories.
