Joe Daily has been working in the service industry since the age of 14 and had an interest in beverages and cocktails long before that.
Joe’s grandfather retired from the Falls City Brewing Company in Louisville, Kentucky after starting his career moon-shining in the area around Loretto, Kentucky, also the home of Maker's Mark Whisky. As the son of two chemical engineers, Joe’s love of science combined with his grandfather’s passion and he found himself studying and deciphering the makeup of his favorite sodas and milkshakes. At age 18, Joe stepped behind the bar and has never looked back.
Joe has worked in hospitality as FOH/BOH/Bartender/Speaker/F&B Strategist/Event Coordinator/Corporate Mixologist/Educator/Published Writer/Columnist across the country, for national accounts, regional accounts and independent accounts alike, for the past 25 years. He holds several international spirits certifications, teaches the 12-week industry-geared SGWS' Academy of Spirits and Fine Service, and has been a longstanding member of the Kentucky chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild. Joe can often be found out in the market nationally spreading the knowledge and joy of practical bartending to clinical, higher-end mixology programs, and always with a smile on his face.
