And they're off!

The 2019 Western Regional Conference is currently underway, and attendees are already gushing about what they are loving about the conference thus far… But don’t take our word for it: Robin Biles, San Francisco Chapter Member who joined the USBG approximately 6 months ago to “meet other people serious about a career in bartending” shares her #1 Takeaway:

I hope to one day be able to own my own bar and was really excited to hear a seminar on how to find money to open your own bar; I am feeling inspired!

This year's WRC educational seminars covered topics, such as: Fundraising: How to Find Money to Start Your Own Bar, Italian Spirits-Alchemy of the Finest Ingredients, Mis En Place Your Career, Food Seeking Beverage, Negroni Family Tree, United We Create, and educational lunches presented by Terlato, and Keystone Sponsor-DIAGEO.

The WRC conference also held an especially informative seminar, Dangerous Drinks & Risky Techniques, presented by Camper English, which provided members with industry insights and education to help them succeed inside their careers; And a mindful and highly impactful seminar, Mastering Work/Life Balance, presented by National USBG President, Kyle McHugh, that provided members with tools to achieve entrepreneurial success through preventing burnout.
