2022 Chapter Fundraising Initiative

By Genevieve Porter posted 14 days ago

Do you want to donate to the BEAP and help your local USBG Chapter reach its goal?! It's year two of the Chapter Fundraising Initiative. Our goal is to raise $12,000 for the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP) by September 30, 2022, by activating USBG Chapters and individual members across the United States.

The funds raised during this initiative will help fellow bartenders in need. We are assisting about 15 bartenders per month right now and expect that with the hurricane season starting, BEAP applications will be increasing.

Last year, we had two USBG Chapters participate. One raised funds from a major supporter (shout out to Orange County & Hennessey), and one raised their funds internal to the Chapter (thank you, Phoenix)!

There are a lot of different ways to donate:

  • Anyone can donate at the link above & select a USBG Chapter from the dropdown list!
  • Leadership can donate from the Chapter's existing funds
  • Email or ask your fellow members at your next meeting to make a small donation toward your Chapter's total
  • Ask a sponsor to donate on behalf of your Chapter
  • Hold a fundraiser and donate the proceeds toward your Chapter's total.

We hope that you and your USBG Chapter join us in helping the BEAP assist your fellow bar industry colleagues facing emergency hardships. Please click here if you would like to donate in the name of your USBG Chapter and have that donation count towards the $12,000 goal

About the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP)
The Bartender Emergency Assistance Program at the USBG Foundation is to assist those in the bar industry who require financial assistance because of a catastrophic event or an emergency hardship such as an accident, acute medical diagnosis, wind, water, earth, or fire related natural disasters. The BEAP exists to assist bartenders in their time of need. We aim to help as many qualified industry members as possible every year. Additionally, we strive to ensure that the BEAP is sustained as a safety net for those in the industry who need it most. Thank you for supporting us so we can "Serve Those Who Serve Us." If you or someone you know needs emergency assistance, please review the eligibility requirements and application at
