Nicknames? "Salami Mami" is the most appropriate of them, and therefore the only one I'll list.
Which USBG chapter are you a member of? Richmond, VA
How many years have you been in the industry? 20
Guiltiest pleasure drink? Cosmos and Piña Coladas
What is your favorite quote? "This too shall Pass" I know it's a bit generic, but this has gotten me through many hard times. Almost everything is temporary.
What is the best advice you have ever received? To treat others as you wish to be treated. It can be really hard to do, but I try to show everyone I encounter empathy and grace.
What advice could you offer to others? Work hard, stay humble, and help others when you can. It will come back to you.
If you could change jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be? I always thought it would be cool to be a Forensic Scientist
What other profession would you NEVER try? Alligator training. I'm pretty attached to my fingers.
What (or who) is the greatest love of your life? My daughter, Ellie. She is the most special human I've ever met.
Why did you join the USBG? To further my education.
What is your #1 take-away from your USBG Member experience thus far? That it is about community as much as it is learning.
