USBG, Director of Finance and Administration
What does your professional background look like? My professional career has always been in the accounting/administration realm. I was an auditor for a CPA firm doing taxes and nonprofit audits, transitioned into Director of Finance for a nonprofit. I then transitioned into school district finance as a Director of Finance, a consultant for school districts and then to Chief Business Official managing multiple departments. I'm now back in the nonprofit realm with the USBG
How long have you been on Staff and/or involved with the USBG? I was hired as a consultant back in January of 2013 and was hired into a full time position that August -- 7 years!
Where do you live? California born and raised. I've lived in Southern California, the Bay Area, the North Coast and have settled here in the Sacramento Valley
How did you first get connected to the USBG? Through OG David Nepove (who happens to be my little brother)

Got any hobbies? My free time is spent with my dogs. I also train in Olympic Weightlifting. Other hobbies include outdoorsy things when the weather is warm (hiking, paddle-boarding, gardening)
What's your favorite drink? I'm not much of a drinker. Caffeine is my go to. On holidays I'll have a glass of wine and if my brother makes me a drink.. well then that is always my favorite!
What's it like working remotely? I used to commute up to 3 hours a day and I don't miss it at all! It has allowed me to foster dogs (which I have failed at as I have adopted two of my former fosters). I am a homebody by nature so it works for me.
