First job: Dish washing at 14

Childhood ambition: Surgeon; sometimes I kind of feel like I'm doing it in the kitchen.
Best part of job: When people try something they've never heard of, but absolutely love

Favorite quote: "I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune." - Walt Whitman
If you won the lottery tomorrow: I don't even have a ticket.
Pet peeve: Removing stickers on things
Advice you could offer to others: Use your off-hand for everything when it's slow and you're bored. It's a challenge, and you will get way better at it. Then when it's busy, you're pretty much as good as two bartenders.
Best advice you ever got: Getting out of your comfort zone will improve your life.
Best compliment anyone could give you: When they come back to my bar because I'm working
Riskiest thing you've ever done: Oh, there's too many to pick one. Free-climbing, making my own fireworks, attending a riot, telling someone "all vodka is gluten free" ... the list goes on.
Personal heroes: Marco Pierre White, Santiago Calatrava, Blindboy Boatclub
Is there something about you that would surprise people? I've been hit by lightning, although that doesn't surprise most people that know me.
How do you turn around a lousy day? Make someone have a really amazing day. It is contagious.
Most interesting place traveled & why: Lyon, France. It is perfect. Everything I love is in it's absolute prime out there.
What's the simplest thing you've never mastered? F%*#ing household plastic wrap. It's a horror show every time. I buy the giant restaurant ones, even though they last me about 10 years.
Favorite part of usbg.org? Hearing the different voices out there
Sports team: Bruins
If you could change jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be? Talent Scout for the Puppy Bowl
What other profession would you never try? Semi-truck drivers that deliver in New York or Boston
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? "I've got a thing, do you mind taking over for a minute?"
