BarSmarts is an innovative and direct-to-the-bartender spirits, mixology and service training certification program. Designed exclusively for Pernod Ricard USA and instructed by the celebrated partners of Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR), LLC, Dale DeGroff, Doug Frost, Steve Olson, F. Paul Pacult, Andy Seymour and David Wondrich, BarSmarts is the only program of its caliber to provide comprehensive mixology education.

There are two levels of BarSmarts education, BarSmarts Advanced and BarSmarts WIRED.

BarSmarts Advanced is a by-invitation-only program offered in select cities each season and includes BarSmarts Live, a dynamic full-day event of seminars, discussion, hands-on mixology, testing and certification. Once all individual study is completed, candidates are automatically eligible to attend the Live event in his or her chosen city.

All candidates interested in BarSmarts WIRED, a 100% online certification program, are able to sign up at www.barsmarts.com twice a year, during a two-month window in order to complete BarSmarts certification online. All work takes place online including DrinkBuilder, a virtual mixology exam and the final step to WIRED certification.

Both programs are designed to take basic spirits knowledge and mixology to more accomplished levels with the assumption that all participants have a good understanding of today's cocktail culture, spirits brands and categories.
