We are looking for like-minded bartenders who share our passion. Whether you like creating cocktails, study the history of cocktails, enjoy learning about spirits and the art of mixology, or simply want to connect with other bartenders, we’d love to hear from you.
We hold monthly meetings, have educational spirit seminars, and sponsor local, national, and world cocktail competitions. Cocktail competitions not only showcase the spirits we use but new and innovative ways of tending bar by highlighting the technical aspects of bartending such as proper handling of tools, glassware, and mis-en-place.
We are a non-profit organization and use our membership dues and sponsorships to hold competitions, luncheons, seminars, support charity organizations, produce our monthly news letter and elevate the craft of the cocktail through education.
For those who are interested in leadership and participation in the development and growth of the USBG, we have yearly elections for the guild’s council members.
